Drexel Men’s Tennis Team Defeats Delaware 4-3, Next Match Against Hofstra on April 15th

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men’s tennis team was victorious over the Delaware Blue Hens, 4-3 on Wednesday afternoon. The Dragons improve to 7-10 overall and a 1-1 mark in the CAA.

The Dragons earned a win in the top-seeded doubles match as Alan Jesudason and Alex De Sousa earned a 6-3 victory.

In singles play, Jesudason took down his opponent in three sets, 7-5, 4-6, 6-3. Daniel Dudockin earned a win in the No. 2 match, 6-4, 6-2 and Egor Kirakosov downed his opponent in the fourth-seeded match with a pair of 6-2 sets. Lastly, Hugo Brungs capped Drexel’s wins with a 6-2, 7-6(7-4) victory in the sixth seed.

Drexel returns to the court on Saturday, April 15. The Dragons will travel north to Hempstead, N.Y. to face the Hofstra Pride. The match is slated to begin at 2 p.m.
