What is the railway building there?
– Deutsche Bahn is expanding the Dresden – Riesa – Leipzig line in the Zeithain – Leckwitz section. Construction work is scheduled from March 1st to April 23rd.
– The line will be expanded for speeds of up to 200 kilometers per hour and the signal box technology will be converted.
– The current construction work serves to ensure that a track can be used in both directions for further expansion. Then trains between Leipzig and Dresden can continue to roll despite construction work.
