Mattersburg / Eisenstadt – Burgenland’s governor Hans Peter Doskozil (SPÖ) on Thursday rejected criticism of the country that it had insufficiently exercised its supervisory role over the credit cooperative, which is majority owner of the commercial bank Mattersburg. “It is actually not legally possible for the country to inspect the bank,” Doskozil emphasized to the “ORF Burgenland”.
