Former President Donald Trump, favorite candidate for the Republican nomination for the White House, leads the current president Joe Biden in all the states in which polls show that there is an undecided electorate regarding who to vote in the presidential elections of November 2024.
According to a Morning Consult/Bloomberg poll, Trump would win today in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, the seven states considered undecided that neither Republicans nor Democrats dominate and are essential to decide the electoral result.
Biden falls among young people and blacks
The survey also highlights the decline in the intention to vote for Biden among the black electorate and in the so-called “young vote” between 18 and 34 years old.
In this last segment, Trump already leads Biden by five points (45% to 40%). In the black vote, the percentage of support for Biden has dropped since October from 46 to 38%, compared to 24% in favor of Trump.
Biden has lost the percentage point lead he had over Trump in the state of Michigan last month and now the New York tycoon and former president has a four percentage point difference there, which is added to the three percentage points difference he obtains in Arizona, the seven in Georgia, the 11 in North Carolina, the six in Wisconsin, the five in Nevada and the point in Pennsylvania.
With the exception of Georgia and North Carolina, these results fall within the margin of error predicted by the pollster for each state, reported the Europa Press news agency.
In general terms, 58% of voters in these seven states maintain an unfavorable opinion of Bidenand 53% of Trump, whom they consider more capable of managing the national economy.
