The stations of Jonzac, Saintes, Rochefort, La Rochelle Ville, Luçon and La Roche-sur-Yon are served. An additional daytime round trip will be added starting December 12.

SNCF also insists on the comfort offered to users with the operation of Alstom Coradia Liner trains, which came into service at the end of 2017.

New lines?

This reopening illustrates SNCF’s efforts to modernize its Intercités network under the impetus of the State after years of underinvestment which provoked the anger of users. Remember that these lines are approved and subsidized by the State.

For 2021, SNCF is maintaining its investment trajectory “to carry out essential projects and operations, in particular those for the regeneration and modernization of the national rail network”.
