During Day of the Devs: The Game Awards Edition, developer Cobysoft Co. and the publisher Hyper Real presents a new glimpse of perhaps the strangest game many have ever seen.
Called Dome-King Cabbage, the game is a monster-collecting visual novel where players explore an imaginative 3D world inspired by clay dioramas from 90s game consoles. Yes, there are a lot of strange words, and the trailer honestly doesn’t exactly help to understand what this unusual game has to offer.
What we do know is that the goal of the game is to complete a job interview to earn the rare title of Dome-King. We learn that the main character, Mush, is able to see the world through the lens of a monster-collecting role-playing game, and during a routine job interview, Mush takes himself to Crumb Island to hunt for the title of Dome-King.
