Today (17 Dec ’20) the Olympic Council of Asia, or OCA, held a meeting of 45 member nations in Muskat, Oman. To vote for the hosts of the 2030 Asian Games, two major cities bid for Qatar’s Doha and Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh.
And since both Qatar and Saudi Arabia are two countries with intense political conflicts, the OCA voted before the vote that City that won the vote It will host 2030 and the losing city will host 2034.
As a result, most member states voted for Doha, causing Doha to take on the hosting of the second term, with the first taking place in 2006.
