Witten-Herbede (dpa / lnw) – A dog was killed on Thursday by the owner of another dog with knife wounds.
The boxer mixed breed of a 32-year-old woman got into a fight with a smaller dog on the dog meadow in Witten-Herbede, the police said. The owner of the other dog, a Pomeranian mixed breed, first tried to separate the two animals. The 57-year-old man then stabbed the woman’s dog two or three times with a knife. Despite an emergency operation immediately carried out in a veterinary practice, the dog died.
