DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan conduct unannounced inspections (sidak) at a number of non-essential company offices that are still open during Emergency PPKM. Inspections are requested to be carried out more frequently.
“Inspections must be more intensive with these findings, and expanded to certain areas with many factories or offices,” said member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the PDIP faction, Gilbert Simanjuntak, when contacted, Tuesday (6/7/2021) night.
He judged the office that broke the rules Emergency PPKM not scolded enough. The DKI Provincial Government is asked to give strict sanctions to companies that violate the emergency PPKM rules.
“I think the office should be penalized, because it has violated, it’s not enough just to be scolded,” said Gilbert.
“It is proven that there are also entrepreneurs who do not care about this case,” he continued.
Previously, Anies made inspections to a number of offices in Jakarta on the fourth day Emergency PPKM. Anies found that the non-essential company office violated the emergency PPKM.
Anies’ action in checking the office in Jakarta was uploaded on his Instagram social media account, @aniesbaswedan. Anies looks angry because he finds offices outside the essential and critical sectors operating.
“Where’s the HRD? This is not about violating the rules, what’s your name? Diana’s mother and your company are not responsible,” said Anies to the office’s HRD, as seen by detikcom.
“It’s not a matter of profit and loss. It’s a matter of life. We want to save the lives of people and people like this mother who are selfish. Let the workers come along,” Anies continued.
Anies’ upload was accompanied by a description of the location of the ‘Sahid Sudirman Center’. Anies requested that office operations be closed immediately.
