JAKARTA – Erajaya Group together with DJI finally introduced the latest drone model for DJI Air 2S consumers, an update from the DJI Mavic Air 2 which was released in early 2020.
The DJI Air 2S is the first drone in its class to be equipped with a 20 MP camera to capture images and the ability to record 5.4K video at 30fps or 4K at 60fps and 150Mbps. This is thanks to a new 1-inch sensor that was previously only available on larger drones. The one-inch sensor is not only bigger than the DJI Mavic Air 2 sensor, but also has a larger pixel size. Namely 2.4 μm.

What’s the impact of a larger sensor and 5.4K video recording capability? First, users can crop video while maintaining the quality of 4K resolution. In addition, the large sensor also makes the DJI Air 2S support 4X zoom capability at 4K 30fps, 6X at 2.7K 30fps, 4X at 2.7K 60fps, 6X at 1080P 60fps and 8X at 1080P 30fps.
Another update that DJI is making is O3 or the third generation of OcuSync. Namely, the DJI transmission technology which is known to be able to stream high-resolution video over great distances which is now more sophisticated.
Likewise new features of MasterShots. Through this feature the drone can fly automatically, capturing the video and knitting it directly into a video that can be watched.
And users don’t have to do anything. There are several features to choose from. Namely MasterShots, FocusTrack, QuickShots and Hyperlapse.
Regarding security, it has also been improved. Namely through APAS 4.0. The DJI autopilot system makes the drone more agile in maneuvering through obstacles autonomously.
Another thing that has been fixed is FocusTrack. Namely, an automatic shooting mode that allows users to get professional-like video motion. Among other things, with the shooting mode Spotlight 2.0, ActiveTrack 4.0 and Point of Interest 3.0.

Erajaya Group Director Djohan Sutanto said that currently drones are an inclusive technology that is increasingly sought after by the public. “Because the easier it is to operate, the higher the resolution of the camera, the longer the flight time, the more compact the size, and the more sophisticated the technology,” he said.
Djohan said that the DJI Air 2S is available at the DJI outlet at the Grand Indonesia Mall, floor 3A today.
–How much it costs? DJI Air 2S is available in 2 (two) Combo options. The first is the Standard Combo, which is priced at IDR 16 million, including a drone, remote control, one battery and all the cables and parts needed.
The second combo is the Fly More Combo, which is sold for IDR 21 million, including a drone, remote control, three batteries, ND filter, charging hub and shoulder bag.
