In ‘De Verraders’ eighteen familiar faces come together in a mysterious castle. During their stay they have to try to win a large silver treasure, but within the group there are three traitors who have their own plans. They do not want to share the treasure with the other group members and do everything they can to go home with the loot themselves. To achieve their goal, they ‘kill’ a fellow candidate every night and try to turn the other group members against each other. So the rest of the group members must try to identify the traitors and vote them out before it’s too late. Kijkend Vlaanderen should not find out who the saboteurs are, because they get to see in advance who the bad guys are serving.

It is not yet known when the show will be shown on VTM, but at the channel they are already happy that they can broadcast the popular game show. “At VTM we took a broad look at what ‘De Verraders’ did in the Netherlands. The game keeps everyone captivated and the first episodes brought more than two million viewers to the edge of their seats ”, says Davy Parmentier, creative director at VTM.
