Only a few new infections are detected in the Freiburg region. The district office warns, however, that the numbers could rise again at any time. Hygiene rules should therefore be observed.
For a long time now, the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald Health Office has hardly reported any new corona infections in the district and the city of Freiburg. “The pleasing decline in the numbers can be attributed to many different factors,” according to the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district office. The interruption of the infection chains by the lockdown as well as the distance and hygiene rules should of course be mentioned. The office also leads the work of the health department and the good availability of protective equipment. This had been lacking at the beginning of the pandemic.
The district administration warns that the number of infections could rise again at any time. “A second wave in autumn / winter is likely.” You should therefore keep to the hygiene rules in order to continue to reduce infections as much as possible. There have been minor local outbreaks in the past few weeks, which were quickly recognized and contained by the health department.
