A 49-year-old man died this Wednesday, January 17, on the public highway near Sainte-Anne-de-Brivet, a town located in the north of Loire-Atlantique.
Firefighters discovered the victim shortly after 10:30 a.m., in cardiac arrest, lying in a ditch, precisely located at a place called La Rénais. Despite attempts at resuscitation, the forty-year-old was declared dead by a Samu (Urgent Medical Aid Service) doctor.
The police were on site. An investigation is open to determine the exact circumstances of the death.
