Disneyland will reopen to the public on April 30 – Telemundo Dallas (39)

LOS ANGELES, California – The two Disney theme parks in California will reopen on April 30, CEO Bob Chapek announced Wednesday to the CNBC network.

All of California’s theme parks closed more than a year ago due to restrictions from the coronavirus pandemic and the state’s strict measures to curb the spread of the virus.

While guidelines in other states, such as Florida, allowed parks to reopen with limited capacity, California’s rules have kept theme parks large and small closed.

However, a new state guide allows amusement parks reopen from April 1 with a capacity of 15% to 35%, depending on the risk of the virus in the community.

The use of face masks and other precautionary measures will be mandatory.

In the last 12 months, the Disneyland parking lot became a COVID-19 testing megacenter and subsequently a coronavirus vaccination megacenter.
