In 2018, appeared with The Predator still the fourth film in the Predatorfranchise. Despite the fact that many people could still enjoy themselves with the film, this film turned out to be a director Shane Black (The Nice Guys, Iron Man 3) a flop. Now 20th Century Studios is aiming for a fifth film in the series.That becomes clear via Deadline Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane) has been appointed to direct the new film in the film series. It is still unclear what the approach will be, but it would not be resorted to The Predator.

So there is not much else to say about the new plans, other than that we get to see a new story in the series. The script comes from writer Patrick Aison, known for his work on series like Kingdom, Jack Ryan in Treadstone.
Just hours before the news, rumor maker Daniel Richtman revealed that Arnold Schwarzenegger interested in returning. Time will tell if the 73-year-old action hero, who was also seen in the original from 1987, actually has a role (letje).
