SanDisk, during its participation in the CES 2020 Consumer Electronics Show in the US city of Las Vegas, revealed an SSD model with the largest capacity to date.
The SanDisk 8TB Portable Storage Disk is small in size and can be placed in a pocket. It also features SuperSpeed USB support with speeds up to 20Gbps.
Although the external storage disk is still just a prototype that takes some time to turn into a product that can be purchased from the market, the company has announced a SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB 1TB flash memory and a USB-C port. It is expected to go on sale later this year.
It is noteworthy that the “SanDisk” company had presented the micro flash memory as a prototype for the first time at CES 2018, and today it is turning into a consumer product.
The company has not announced the price for the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe, but has confirmed that it will be available for purchase this quarter.
