The Magdeburg University Children’s Hospital loses its director. As a spokeswoman announced, Denis Schewe will leave the clinic at the end of 2023 in agreement with the board. Due to the “currently difficult nationwide conditions in pediatric and adolescent medicine”, the possibilities for Schewe as a specialist for blood and cancer diseases in children are “limited”, it said.
