The 55-year-old Dimitris Kokotas, son of the great popular performer Stamatis Kokotas, felt unwell last Thursday afternoon while he was rehearsing for his participation in a live show.
According to the show’s production, the singer felt fainting tendencies, heavy sweating and a fast heart rate. EKAV was immediately called, which took him to the hospital.
His health condition is critical

“I saw him, he’s under sedation, I’m the only one talking to him. I am in a very difficult position, really no one should experience this. These 24 hours seem like centuries to me. He had never complained to me about anything, he doesn’t drink, he doesn’t smoke, he watches his diet,” she said of her husband.

Speaking to Happy Day, stylist Kostas Zisis described what happened: “Dimitris came to the dressing room and was in a good mood, he got dressed and went on stage to do his rehearsal. Just before he went on stage, he came back and told me he wasn’t feeling well, he started sweating and fainting. At that moment I immediately called 166 and they connected me to the doctor, and he spoke to Dimitris. She asked him how he feels, how he is. Dimitris answered him, he said that his hand is numb, he has a tendency to vomit, a pain in his heart. In the next 20 minutes a rescuer came with a motorbike and after 10-15 minutes an ambulance came to pick him up. He was conscious, he was in pain, but he was calm,” said Kostas Zisis.
