Digital Terrestrial, new channel changes in 5 Regions: here’s where

Waiting for the arrival of the Second generation DVB-T2 Digital Terrestrial in the last few days there have been others movements of broadcasters on two MUX, which follow the numerous movements of the past weeks. Once again, the regional broadcasters are changing, especially those in Northern Italy.

The two MUXs interested in the changes are indeed Studio 1, which broadcasts in Emilia Romagna, Veneto, Lombardy, Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, e Network 55, which broadcasts only in Lombardy. Studio 1 had registered other changes already in the first half of March, with the addition of La 9 Nord (LCN 76) and its duplicate called La 8 (LCN 81). These two broadcasters recorded the minor changes: an almost imperceptible change in the identifier from LA9 to LA 9 NORTH and from LA8 to LA 8. Few will notice this change, also because on the same MUX Studio 1 there are much more substantial variations.

MUX Studio 1, the new channels

Starting from MUX Studio 1 the entry of TV charm, which broadcasts with H.264 encoding to the LCN 231. Fascino TV does not currently have its own programming, but is a duplicate of the program schedule of Woman Shopping Channel 235, already present on the national MUX of Rete A.

Also in MUX Studio 1, then, it disappears Bike TV present at LCN 259: going to this LCN, in fact, now we see a sign that warns us that the issuer has switched to standard HbbTV, that is, hybrid digital TV (here ours insight into what the HbbTV standard is), and consequently can only be tuned via the Internet by connecting the decoder or TV to the home network.

MUX Rete 55, the new channels

For a few days inside the MUX Network 55 resend Malpensa Channel, to LCN 669 (and with identifier Channel 669). This broadcaster should not be confused with Malpensa TV, already present at LCN 194 but which actually broadcasts the broadcaster’s programs The Greater Italy (in turn already present at LCN 254).

Instead, the broadcaster disappears SestaRete from the LCN 188. It is a Piedmontese broadcaster that also broadcast in Lombardy and which, now, is only visible in Piedmont.

Again on the MUX Rete 55 we report the arrival of VCO Azzurra TV (LCN 658 and H.264 encoding). This is another Piedmontese broadcaster that also broadcasts (only at certain times of the day) the schedule of the Swiss TV RSI La1.
