Parents’ evenings or parenting days are subject to the Corona restrictions: Even when the schools were still open, parents were no longer allowed to sit together in the classroom. Many schools have therefore switched to online meetings. As a rule, they are allowed, according to a request from school ministries in various federal states. But 40 percent of schools do not have a concept for maintaining contact with students and parents. A lot is improvised. And yet the data protection rules should be adhered to.
