The attacker was injured in the hospital with abdominal shots, the gendarme had suffered minor cuts to the hand, it was said. The local prosecutor, Christian Mercuri, said that before the incident, someone called on behalf of the Terrorist militia “Islamic State” threatened with a massacre in Dieuze. Dieuze is a small town about 70 kilometers from Saarbrücken.
