DFL schedules Bundesliga until end of season – Dynamo Dresden with mammoth program

All game days at a glance

The German Football League (DFL) has scheduled the remaining Bundesliga games this season and has thus found a catch-up date for the match between Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt. The two clubs are expected to make up for their duel on June 3 at 8:30 p.m., the DFL announced on Wednesday.

Other top games on Saturday evening (6.30 p.m.) were Borussia Dortmund against Hertha BSC on matchday 30 and record champions FC Bayern Munich against Borussia Mönchengladbach on matchday 31.

The 32nd matchday will be played during the week. While FC Bayern is a guest in Bremen on Tuesday evening (June 16, 8:30 p.m.), Dortmund’s chase is on Wednesday (June 17, 8:30 p.m.) against FSV Mainz 05. The last two game days are traditionally played on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The 33rd matchday is scheduled for June 20 this year, the Bundesliga final for June 27th.

After the duels with Hannover 96 and Greuther Fürth, the DFL also published a third second division game from Dynamo Dresden. This is clear from the game plans that the DFL published on Wednesday.

2. Bundesliga: Dynamo Dresden has to run six times in 15 days

The Saxons are currently in a two-week quarantine because of two positive tests for the corona virus. Now, the guest appearance with league leader Arminia Bielefeld should not take place until June, as planned. Dresden would not have been in quarantine at the originally planned game date next week, but would only have had an extremely short preparation time.

This results in a real mammoth program for the second division last in June: On June 3 (6.30 p.m.) the game will be made up in Hanover before it goes to SV Wehen Wiesbaden on June 6. This is followed by the catch up game against Greuther Fürth on June 9 (6.30 p.m.), a home game against Hamburger SV on June 12 and the catch up game in Bielefeld on June 15 (8.30 p.m.). Because the next English week will follow immediately, Dresden will play six games within 15 days.
