KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Forbes Magazine has just released its 2020 Asia’s Power Businesswomen list on September 15th. Interestingly, in the list of the best women businessmen this time, one Indonesian name can be seen in it.
In the midst of all the business obstacles that arise in the midst of a pandemic like this, Forbes gives appreciation to 25 women businessmen in the Asia-Pacific region through Forbes Asia’s Power Businesswomen.

One of the names that appeared on this year’s list is Dewi Muliaty, President Director of Prodia Widyahusada, the largest clinical laboratory network in Indonesia.
In 1988 Dewi joined Prodia as assistant manager. Dewi, who was struggling to get a pharmacist’s license, was recruited by Andi Wijaya, one of the founders of Prodia.

After two decades of working at Prodia, Dewi finally succeeded in becoming the President Director. Under his cold hands, Prodia has succeeded in increasing the number of clinics to 285 throughout Indonesia.
Dewi’s achievement is quite good, considering that in 2012 Prodia only had 107 clinics in various points in Indonesia.
According to Forbes records, almost of Prodia’s income last year came from testing for autoimmune disorders and other diseases. Prodia’s first half sales this year decreased 18 percent to Rp 657 billion. In exchange, Dewi is now starting to offer Covid-19 testing quickly.
Dewi Muliaty offers a testing program that can be carried out in a clinic, at home, even through a drive-through, for all Indonesians.
After the trial, Prodia provided the results online so that everyone could find out about them without having to bother leaving the house.
Thanks to its big name, the Covid-19 test by Prodia has clearly won the trust of the Indonesian people. Prodia also provides a range of the best equipment and services.
