The departure hall was evacuated just after 4 p.m. due to a suspicious package. It was an abandoned suitcase at the check-in desk.
While waiting for an explosive dog, the (few) people present were asked to go outside. “We do not want to take any risk and have asked Dovo on the spot,” said a spokesman for the federal police.
The suitcase turned out to be harmless just before 6 p.m. and the departure hall was then released again. Departing passengers should expect delays of up to two hours.
