The feminist groups will return to the streets of the main Spanish cities next Sunday, March 8, International Women’s Day, in marches that, according to the March 8 Commission, one of the main conveners, will focus on claiming sexual and reproductive rights, women’s sexual freedom, as well as asking for a sexual affective education “to include gender identities and expressions without stereotypes”.
The demonstrations will be held the same week in which the Ministry of Equality will present before the Council of Ministers the draft of the Comprehensive Law for the protection of sexual freedom and against sexual violence, which contemplates the creation of 24-hour crisis centers to attend to victims of this type of violence.
