Delta Airlines Passengers Must Adhere to Dress Code Policy or Face Consequences

Jakarta

The dress code on airplanes is not written. But that doesn’t mean passengers can board a plane wearing whatever clothes they like.

Reporting from Independent UK on Wednesday (7/2), a woman named Lisa Archbold boarded a plane Delta Airlines. He departed Salt Lake City for San Francisco on January 22.

It was time to board the plane, he got on and sat in his seat. Archbold wore a jacket in the waiting room until boarding the plane. As soon as he sat down, he took off the jacket.

A flight attendant came and reprimanded him. It turned out that Archbold was not wearing a bra under her t-shirt. Archbold was escorted off the plane.

The flight attendant scolded him, he could board the plane on one condition.

“After a long speech, he told me that he would let me stay on the plane if I wore a jacket,” he complained.

Archbold felt discriminated against, even though that was the general rule. He couldn’t help but agree to the flight attendant’s conditions rather than not being allowed to fly.

The woman finally grumbled in her seat. He promised to sit quietly on the plane.

The flight went smoothly until it landed at the destination airport. When all the passengers had got off, the woman approached the flight attendant and expressed her disappointment.

The flight attendant replied.

“Our official policy at Delta Airlines is that women must cover ‘it’ parts.”

This situation is not the first time. Passengers with inappropriate clothing are often reprimanded by cabin crew. If they want to be allowed to board, they must cover exposed parts of their bodies with jackets.
