Dell laptop with Luna concept

Nextren.com – On Wednesday (15/12) Dell held a Dell Technologies CES 2022 Media Webcast event to introduce a sustainability concept known as Concept Luna.
Through this concept, Dell seeks to accelerate the circular economy and achieve its target of zero greenhouse gas emissions.
Concept Luna is a proof-of-concept co-developed with Intel and explores revolutionary design ideas to make PC components quickly available, replaceable, and reused.
This allows dell to make environmentally friendly computer components that are reusable and reduce the carbon footprint.

The Luna concept is estimated to reduce the carbon footprint of up to 50 percent of products Dell.
“With increasing concern about the climate crisis, e-waste and resource constraints, our question is how can we encourage reuse and reduce the carbon footprint of our products. Dell secara signifikan,” kata Glen Robson, Chief Technology Officer, Client Solutions Group.
Dell explained that they are always looking for ways to improve power energy efficiency and better cooling, and use materials with a smaller carbon footprint.
Suppose, Dell using a smaller motherboard that results in less power consumption, a 50 percent less carbon footprint and a 20 percent smaller number of components.
