The leadership of the Russian Federation in the first days of 2023 plans to start a new mass wave mobilization and to impose martial law on the country to close the borders to men.
This was stated in a video message by the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Oleksiy Reznikov.
“I would like to appeal to Russian conscripts. First of all, this concerns residents of large cities. I know for sure that you have about a week left to make at least one choice. In early January, the Russian authorities will close the border for men, then they will declare martial law, ”reznikov said.
He said that after the introduction of martial law in the Kremlin, they plan to start a new massive wave of mobilization. In Belarus, the self-proclaimed Lukashenko’s regime will also close the borders to men of military age.
“I don’t urge you to take my word for it, I just want you to ask yourself one question and answer honestly: when you go to war, where you can die or be crippled for life, what exactly will you fight for? Personally you,” added the defense secretary.
