Deep Sidhu hoisted flag at Red Fort: Farmers say BJP has nothing to do with it Deep Sidhu | Tractor Rally | Republic Day

New Delhi: Farmers’ organizations have said that farmers have no role to play in the events that literally polluted the national capital on Republic Day. Farmers’ organizations have reiterated that the Nishan Sahib flag hoisted by Sikhs at the Red Fort on Republic Day in violation of police restrictions was not one of the protesters.

The hoisting of another flag instead of the national flag at the Red Fort has led to huge debates and discussions, raising the question of who led it. The Joint Strike Committee said yesterday that the farmers had decided to hold a tractor rally peacefully and that the infiltration of some anti-social elements had created problems.

Meanwhile, Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu, a familiar face in the farmers’ struggle, is having a live Facebook discussion. “When we were denied our democratic right to protest, we only hoisted the Nishan Sahib flag at the Red Fort and did not change the national flag,” Deep told Facebook Live.

Swaraj India chief Yogendra Yadav told national media that Deep Sidhu and goonda political leader Lakha Sidhana had come to the protest site last night to provoke the farmers and disrupt the strike. He also said that an inquiry should be held into how Deep Sidhu got to the Red Fort with a microphone. Gurm Singh Chadhuni, leader of the Indian Kisan Union in Haryana, said Deep Sidhu had misled the farmers.

‘I said that if the tractor rally was peaceful, we would win and if there was conflict, we would not win. Behind these problems are those who have misled the farmers. We will look into why and why this happened, ”said Balbir Singh Rajewal, leader of the Indian Kisan Union. Even those who directly and indirectly support the peasant struggle have criticized the hoisting of another flag at the Red Fort instead of the national flag. The farmers ‘organizations came up with the explanation as to how it would affect the farmers’ struggle.

Who is Deep Sidhu?

Born in 1984 in Muksar district of Punjab, Deepa Sidhu is a law graduate. Deepa’s first film was released in 2015 – Ramta Jogi. But Deep will be seen in the role of a goonda leader in the 2018 film Zora Das Nubriya.

Deep Sidhu was part of the campaign team of BJP leader and actor Sunny Deol, who contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in Gurdaspur. But Sunny Deol, who regretted hoisting the flag at the Red Fort, responded that neither she nor her family had anything to do with the island.

English Summary: Deep Sidhu & government agencies behind rampage: Farm netas
