When the sun and the rock are at the zenith
From everywhere, they came the artists
On the burning zinc roofs of Paris
Hands clenched on the lifeline
Under the steely gaze of the iron lady
Blessed are the pigeons, and the alley cats
Who will see all these suburban rockers
Transform into protectors of places
So ! The day will give way to the night
To give the angels a genius idea
By making them believe in an ephemeral dream
That they can turn dust into gold!
But when the silence closes behind them
The angels will already be on the shore of heaven
And like the Caterpillar in its cocoon
One day they will wake up, butterfly angel!
