December CalFresh payments are already being delivered in the United States

In the United States, the California government sends aid to eligible people every month through the CalFresh economic support program.

Also known in California as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Calfresh provides benefits to low-income families so they can purchase food.

In this sense, and through an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, beneficiaries receive financial aid. This means that these cards work like debit cards.

However, it should be clarified that eligibility to receive food stamps is complicated. This happens because the rules change frequently. In addition, a series of factors must be taken into account.

Among them, the size of the household stands out, first of all, how many people the beneficiary lives with and buys or prepares food.

On the other hand, you must know the amount of monthly income, which includes earned income, and also non-earned income.

We’re talking about cash assistance, Social Security, unemployment insurance, and child support, among others.

When can these Calfresh benefits be received?

The first 10 days of each month arrive benefits through the EBT card. While the exact date is determined according to the case number of each beneficiary.

In this sense, if the beneficiary’s case number ends in 1, the payment was made on December 1. But, if the case number ends in 2, the payment occurred on day 2.

Likewise, the payment that was made on December 3 was corresponding to the case number that ends in 3. While on the 4th, the beneficiaries of the cases that end in 4 received their money.

Those who have a case number that ends in 6 receive their payment on December 6. Therefore, this will happen with the first 10 days of this month.
