“So initially on Sunday (11/14/2021) he wanted to sell his car by placing an ad on Facebook,” he explained by telephone (27/11/2021).

The Criminal Investigation Unit said that from the advertisement, a prospective buyer who claimed to be named Susilo Pujo contacted the victim and acted like a potential buyer in general.

On Wednesday (11/24/2021), the perpetrator even visited the victim’s house to check the condition of the vehicle and complete documents such as STNK and BPKB.

The next day, said Didik, the perpetrator again contacted the victim via WhatsApp and said he would come back on Friday. There has also been a price bargaining.

“From the victim’s confession, the car was offered Rp. 395 million. On Friday at around 10:00 am, the perpetrator came back and negotiated the price,” he explained.

According to him, the perpetrator had bid for the car for Rp. 365 million. But in the end the deal and agreed for Rp 386.5 million.

After the agreement was made, then the perpetrator took the victim to the BCA Bank Office to make the payment.

“While at the bank, the perpetrator had also taken a queue number. But at that time the perpetrator borrowed the victim’s car key on the grounds that he had left his savings book in the car,” he said.
