The rink of the Íscar fairgrounds was the venue for the women’s inline hockey Gold League for the first time, coinciding with the premiere in the second division of the national hockey team of the Íscar Skating Club, Lobas-Granja Pinilla.
A historic milestone for the Íscar Skating Club, which in just six years of life has managed to have a women’s team in the second national division, three teams in the National League and another six in the Regional League. For the occasion his rivals were the Valencian club Skulls Almàssera and the Barcelona club ASME Tucans,
A somewhat bitter debut for Lobas-Granja Pinilla since they failed to score in any of their matches despite showing with attitude and good work that they deserve to be in the league, and the lack of goals was a fact that they accused in the end result.
In the first match, which resulted in a 3-0 victory for the Skulls from Barcelona thanks to the three goals from Blanca López, with the game advanced and a 1-0 run, thanks to Carlota’s performance in the local goal. Alvarado, the Lobas risked the attack without success in the last four minutes of the game.
In the locals’ match against the Barcelona Tucans, it concluded with another defeat for the locals, in which the youngest players of the team made their debut, 5-2. Game in which, arriving at halftime with a 3-0 from Tucans, the locals countered the difference on the scoreboard by scoring two goals by Lorena Peón and coach / player Laura Alvarado.
Lastly, in the other match played on the Iscarian court between Valencia and Barcelona, the 3 points at stake went back to Almàssera by winning 5-2 against ASME Tucans.
