Deaths during car racing

On Saturday, two young boys lost their lives during a drag race in Kerrville in the state of Texas in the USA, reports CNN.

The driver of one of the cars that participated in the event lost control of the car during one of the races, and hit several spectators, as he drove off the road and into the crowd.

Eight people were injured in the collision, in addition to the two deaths.

Six and eight years

The boys who lost their lives were six and eight years old. A three-month-old girl and a four-year-old boy were among the youngest injured.

The event was called “Airport Race Wars 2” and took place at Kerrville-Kerr County Airport, about 100 miles from San Antonio.

In the wake of the accident, the police have stated that the driver lost control of the race car as it approached maximum speed, and drove into spectators, who watched the car races from their own cars, and standing places.

Kerrville police have launched an investigation into the incident, to investigate what led to the tragic accident.

– The car race is over

The event was organized by Flyin Diesel Performance, which has now released a video from The Facebook page their, where they ask everyone to pray for the afflicted.

– The car race is over. We hope that everyone prays for those involved, says one of the organizers, Ross Dunagan.
