Developer Arkane has announced that Deathloop will no longer be released this year. The game has been delayed to Q2 2021.
The news was shared through the official Deathloop Twitter account. The message states that Deathloop should be an Arkane game in a stylish world. The postponement is due to the situation that Arkane Lyon employees are in at the moment.

“It takes longer than usual to polish this experience and ensure the quality that is both an Arkane game and an actual next-gen experience.” The extra time gives the Deathloop team the ability to bring their world to life. The team thanks the fans for their support and will share more information in the future.
Deathloop is said to be a release game for the PlayStation 5, but cannot deliver on that promise.
