Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Management Manchester United has confirmed that it has reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. This was confirmed by the management of The Red Devils via their official website, Friday (27/8/2021) night WIB.
“Everyone at the club is looking forward to Cristiano’s return to Manchester,” United said in a statement.
As is known, Ronaldo had defended the Red Devils in the period 2003-2009. During that period, he appeared in 292 matches with 118 goals.
Ronaldo also contributed to Manchester United’s achievement of three Premier League titles, one FA Cup title, one Champions League title and one Club World Cup title.
The Guardian writes Ronaldo will sign a two-year contract with the Red Devils. The transfer value disbursed by MU reportedly reached 20 million pounds or Rp. 396.58 billion.
