Dead Space is shown tonight, the release is said to have been postponed until 2023

Hopefully worth the wait.

At 19:00 do you see one Dead Spacedemonstration in the player above (if you dare), and maybe we will get some clarity on the release issue. It has previously been whispered that the aim is for the autumn of 2022, but Jeff Grubb says (via the premium podcast Grubbsnax) that they have chosen to move the game from 2022 to 2023.

It is now likely coming in 2023. It is no longer targeted for October, instead they are now targeting early 2023.

Yep, it’s just thistle and tassel, so we’ll take it with a pinch of salt. EA itself has not communicated any kind of release window, so maybe we can at least get some clarity during tonight’s show.

Grubb believes that the delay not is equal to trouble with the development, but rather is about that Motive is “extremely focused” on delivering a brilliant remake. Considering Dead Spaces inheritance – and how bad it went with the third – there is a lot to both live up to and prove.
