Davies goes looking for a partner in New York

Corey Omer joins the Davies team in Montreal as a partner after practicing for over six years for Sullivan and Cromwell in New York.

In the United States, he has built a reputation for winning cases for his clients in commercial litigation, class actions, mediations and investigations related to complex regulations.

His expertise in cyberspace law will allow him to advise clients in areas such as cybersecurity governance, data privacy and data breach response plans.

He complements the strengths of Davies’ team of litigators in matters relating to commercial law, competition, consumer protection, insurance and criminal business law.

The 2013 Bar is also on the Roll of the Bars of Ontario and New York. Having started his law studies at McGill University, he continued his training at Harvard University, where he received the Frank Knox Memorial Scholarship, awarded to the best Canadian students.
