Darmstadt (ots) – A red Mazda parked in the parking lot of a dart center in Leydeckerstrasse was targeted by criminals on Wednesday (February 17th) shortly before 1 p.m. Within just a few minutes between 12.50 p.m. and 1 p.m., the perpetrators gained access to the vehicle and grabbed the handbag left in it. The supposed “hiding place” in the passenger footwell was not enough to hide the bag from the eyes of the searching thieves. The strangers set off with their prey. The 3rd police station in Darmstadt has initiated proceedings for the theft. Witnesses who have made suspicious observations or can provide information about the perpetrators are asked to report to the officers (phone number 06151 / 969-3810).
