Danny Cephalos spent two seasons at Arsenal on loan, but the Real Madrid midfielder turned down a third credit crisis at the Gunners next season.
The 24-year-old has returned to Spain after the end of a disappointing campaign for the club and will only return to London if the move is permanent.
Cephalos said he wants some stability in his life and feels a third loan is not the best option for him.
