The Danish influencer and reality contestant Elvira Pitzner has been in custody since Friday, suspected of adultery.

The Danish 26-year-old has been reported for adultery by his ex-boyfriend who lives in Dubai. That’s what the influencer’s mother writes on Instagram.
Pitzner has almost 400,000 followers on Instagram, and is known, among other things, from the series “The Diamond Family”. She also has her own series called “Bare Elvira”.
In Dubai, adultery is prohibited by law. Pitzner and his ex-girlfriend are said to have been married according to Muslim customs, and are thus subject to the country’s Sharia law. Pitzner is also accused of theft from the ex.
– I can confirm that my daughter, Elvira, has been questioned by the police during a holiday in Dubai, writes the mother in the Instagram post.
The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also confirmed knowledge that a Danish citizen is in custody in Dubai to Danish TV 2.
According to Ekstra Bladet, Pitzner must be in Dubai until December 7, when she must then be produced before a court.
– The Islamic countries have different family laws, but sex outside marriage is generally regarded as a very serious crime, says Islamic researcher at Lund University, Jesper Petersen to Berlingske Tidende.
Adultery can be punished with a minimum of one year in prison. Offenders also risk being deported from the country.
Pitzner moved to Dubai with his ex-girlfriend a few years ago. When she then went on holiday to Dubai in November, she was arrested.
– Of course we are all affected by the situation, but we are looking forward to getting Elvira home, writes the mother on Instagram.
