In Austin (Texas), Danilo Petrucci is contesting the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship for the first time. Before that, he competed in MotoGP for years. He is under contract with Team Ducati New York.
Despite the MotoGP exit, he seems happy about the class change. “I feel rejuvenated. Everything is fresh, everything is new. I feel ten years younger, similar to when I entered the MotoGP World Championship in 2012.”
The 31-year-old said in an interview with “Speedweek”. He does not yet know at which level he can start. “Now I don’t know again whether I’ll be 10th or 1st here,” said Petrucci.
