Daniela Parra and her lawyer defend the innocence of the actor

MEXICO CITY, February 24 (EL UNIVERSAL).- After Héctor Parra was formally charged with the crime of sexual abuse against a minor, after eight months in prison, his eldest daughter Daniela Parra, who has been manifested in favor of his father’s innocence, he clarified through a statement and several Instagram stories that the actor’s process has not been affected in any way.

The actor was pointed out by his youngest daughter, Alexa Parra, for having touched her from when she was six to 14 years old.

In June 2021 Parra was arrested and yesterday Ginny Hoffman, Alexa’s mother, announced through a statement that the Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office filed the accusation against her ex-partner.

“Both the direct and indirect victims, as well as this legal advice, reiterate our trust in the institutions for the prosecution and administration of justice,” says the statement signed by the lawyer Olivia Rubio.

While the defense of the interpreter of “A little bit of yours”, the lawyer José Luis Guerrero, affirmed that the determination still depends on the Federal Judicial Power and that he is not yet guilty.

“The accusation that has been formulated by the C. Agent of the Public Ministry, will go through the channels that the law establishes for its response and subsequent procedural stages, without failing to observe and privilege the principle of presumption of innocence”, reads in its release.

For her part, Daniela said that contrary to popular belief, this new determination is not bad news for Parra. “My dad hasn’t even started a trial, no one won or lost,” she said.

In addition, on social networks, he shared some audio again where Ginny Hoffman is heard talking to her daughter Alexa about some problems they had as a couple.

“Today I woke up with the news that my father could spend up to 29 years in prison for a crime he did not commit, that there is not even evidence, they are mere sayings, and how sad that justice in Mexico works like this, that only for speaking out and without anyone investigating, they can go out and say ‘he’s guilty,'” Daniela Parra said.
