Quarterback Dak Prescott will not practice with the Dallas Cowboys on Monday due to his calf injury, however, he remains optimistic about the prospect of playing the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8.
Prescott suffered the leg injury last week in overtime against the New England Patriots, but at the time it was thought that the blow would not put him out of the race for long.

The break the Cowboys will have in Week 7 should help him get ready for the game against the Vikings.
So far in 2021, Prescott has 1,813 yards, 16 touchdowns, 4 interceptions and 73.1% pass completions.
