On Sunday, November 24 at 4:15 p.m. Spanish peninsular time, the first Clásico of the 2021-22 League season will be played, which will face Barcelona and Real Madrid at the Camp Nou. On this occasion, Snapchat has launched special Lenses and Cameos inspired by two of the most iconic football clubs in the world, Barcelona and Real Madrid, to celebrate the Classic. Some filters that will be available to all users of the well-known social network.
Both the Lenses and the Cameos will allow fans of these two teams to show their passion in one of the most anticipated games of the season. With them, users become Real Madrid and Barcelona players, they can record a short video and share it with their friends on Snapchat.
How to use the lenses?
Lenses and Cameos are pretty easy to use. The first of these filters is now available in Snapchat’s ‘Lens Explorer’ and in the application’s own ‘Carousel’. After the Classic ends, the lenses of the two teams will continue to be available.

To use the Real Madrid and Barcelona Lenses you have to open Snapchat and press on the ‘Camera’ screen to activate the ‘Carousel of Lenses’. Then you have to tap on happy face icon located to the right of the ‘Camera’ button to open the ‘Lens Explorer’.
In that section you can find both the lens of Barcelona and that of Real Madrid, just at the top of the ‘Lenses’ section. At this point, you just have to record yourself and share the video or image with your friends, or share them through a ‘Story’.
How to use the Cameos?
As for the Classic Cameos, it is a function with which users can further personalize their messages in private chats. Using them is quite simple, once you are on Snapchat you have to open a private conversation and touch the smiley face icon in the ‘Chat’ bar.
Subsequently, you have to touch the new Cameos selfie icon located at the bottom and then on a Cameos tile to take the photo. Both these and the Lenses can take videos with up to two people and among the animations available are a player or two of the selected team touching a ball kicking it, among others.
