Czechia – Latvia 8: 0, Floorball players finished the basic group at the World Cup with a high win, Řepková scored five goals

The Latvians, who suffered a 2:14 debacle in the last duel at the last World Cup the year before last in Neuchâtel, held a goalless state until 4:08. The score was opened on the left by the uncovered Eliška Chudá after an ideal cross pass by Michaela Kubečková, and in the third duel at the World Championships she was happy with the first goal.

In 98 seconds, Martina Řepková scored Jana Filipsone from an angle and, thanks to her first goal in the tournament, scored her 40th jubilee goal in the 72nd national team match, ten of them she achieved in 21 matches at the world championships. That started her cannonade.

The Czechs were waiting for the next goal against the still carefully defending Latvians within 32 minutes. Řepková ran into the ideal shooting position and completed the hat-trick. In the 36th minute, the Filipsone pole helped after an attempt by Vanessa Rebecca Keprtová. Řepková made another successful shot 70 seconds before the second break. Even before the break after the arrival, Plášková Latvians managed to avert the balloon in front of the goal line, which the judges verified with the video.

In the final act, the Latvians defended themselves in the weakening, and in the 53rd minute Vendula Beránková helped them with a stick. Nela Jiráková immediately scored. In 56:23, Řepková hit again and after Plášková’s attempt, she saved the Latvians’ pole again.
