Cuban Randol Luis Doval wants “God help him,” since it is very difficult for him to cope with the current economic situation on the island. Mr. Doval thought of giving his loved ones a surprise and he left his house. Randol Luis thought of managing a reservation in a tourist place on the Island and sharing with his family. The initiative that he had was a walk through Viñales in the province of Pinar del Río to disconnect from the routine of life.
The man returned home with great disappointment, after going to a Cubatur facility. Randol had been in Viñales the year before and was alarmed when he observed that the rates were not the same.
Prices keep going up
Right now, the prices for a day in a recreational space are exorbitant. The amount for adults is $8,400.00 CUP and children under 12 pay $6,300.00 CUP.
For Randol Luis, the trip cost $31,500.00 CUP in total, because his family is made up of three adults and one minor. The Cuban came to the conclusion that to recreate with his family, he should save his salary without spending it for more than 12 months.
Randol commented on the excessive value of a natural site for the very nation it inhabits. He also said that most of the people in the Caribbean archipelago do not have enough money to pay for these places.
Young Randol thinks that in order to finance a national tourist excursion, he would have to work abroad for a while.
This father of a family did not tell his children what happened and does not know how far the rise in prices can go. Randol posted his discomfort on his Facebook account and several Internet users shared similar experiences.
