CSSD ministers called on Prymula to resign

The CSSD ministers leaned heavily on their colleague from the government of Prime Minister Andrej Babš (ANO) – Minister of Health Roman Prymula (for the ANO movement). They called on Prymula to resign.

The reason is the fact that the diary lightning he caught him – and took a picture – of him leaving the restaurant in Prague’s Vyšehrad before midnight on Thursday, which at that moment was supposed to be closed a long time ago and even before that it could only function through the dispensing window.

In addition, Minister Prymula was moving outside next to his driver without a veil – another violation of government regulations.

“He has to resign, because if he stays, people won’t believe us in anything at all. We must all behave responsibly – especially us, who tell people how to behave. It is inexcusable, “Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Jan Hamáček (ČSSD) told Seznam Zprávy.

Prymula is also criticized by other Social Democrats in the government of Prime Minister Andrej Babiš.

“It simply came to our notice then. You can’t order something from citizens and act like a superman. This is papalism at the worst moment, “said Minister of Culture Lubomír Zaorálek (ČSSD) for Seznam Zprávy.

According to Foreign Minister Tomáš Petříček (ČSSD), such a violation of the rules is completely unacceptable.

“The rules apply to everyone. Politicians should lead by example in all circumstances, and especially in such a difficult time, when the epidemic affects a large number of families, employees and companies, “said Petříček, adding that Prymula should clearly draw conclusions.

“By violating the rules that he represents and whose main face he is, he has lost all credibility with the citizens. The government must now ensure that the public does not lose confidence in measures to help tackle the epidemic, “Petříček added.

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Jana Maláčová (ČSSD) then wrote that Prymula had failed. “The rules apply to everyone, and especially to those who are certain. The Minister has lost all credibility, “said Maláčová.

YES MP Patrik Nacher and KSČM chairman Vojtěch Filip also criticized Prymula. It is the Communists who support Babiš’s government.

“Everyone is their architect, as the king says in a classic Czech fairy tale, if the king did not follow his own regulations, he would soon reign. It is up to the Minister to draw conclusions for himself, “said Filip.

“I have no words. I understand humanly that someone under such enormous pressure will make a mistake. In this case, however, it can become a negative symbol of non-compliance with your own measures. I wonder how the Minister will react to this now and explain it, that is the key, “said Nacher.
