A cyclist was seriously injured on Friday night on the Eindhovenseweg in Valkenswaard. He was hit by a taxi driver near the Geenhovensedreef. According to a 112 correspondent, things went wrong when the cyclist wanted to cross the Eindhovenseweg.
The accident happened around midnight.
Serious head injury
The victim was taken to hospital in Tilburg with serious head injuries. Due to the seriousness of the situation, a Mobile Medical Team came to Valkenswaard by helicopter to provide assistance.
It is being investigated how the collision could have taken place. Witnesses are heard.
