Dalglish spoke for The Sunday Post, where in a few paragraphs he addresses the current case from the eighth finals of the European League between Slavia and the Rangers.
He said about the stitchers that he deserved to be in the top eight of the EL, but at the same time he attacked the way in which they got to the quarterfinals.
“They used a disgusting game plan. They fell and shouted at every opportunity. They wanted to complicate the referee’s life and disrupt the Rangers game. It was unfortunate for the Scottish team and it worked for Slavia, ” said the former player and coach, saying that the Czech team will not gain too many fans for this way of playing.
Kenny Dalglish also spoke about the racist case surrounding Ondřej Kúdela, who was to call Glen Kamara’s rival “fuc *** g monkey.”
“Kamara claims that Kúdela told him he was a fucking monkey. I have no reason to doubt his version of the event. I don’t know him, but he always seemed like a decent person to me, ” declared a 70-year-old football legend.
UEFA is also dealing with the situation, Slavia herself distanced herself from racism and filed a criminal complaint in Kamara, as a Finnish dark-skinned footballer was supposed to attack a 33-year-old Czech hitchhiker in the bowels of the stadium.
